Recently Novamap Health and Diridium Technologies co-funded the development of a TLS plugin.

A friends-and-family preview release is already underway solely for early validation and issue detection to ensure quality before the public open-source release. The full community release is expected within the next one to two weeks as a holiday gift to the OIE community.

The plugin delivers secure, encrypted communications across:
– Web Service senders and listeners
– HTTP senders and listeners
– TCP senders and listeners

It includes built-in support for mTLS, web-based certificate management, and advanced TLS-level debugging and diagnostics, ensuring that security, visibility, and operational control are available by default.

This effort reflects a truly international engineering collaboration, with teams contributing from Romania, Estonia, the UK, and the USA, all working together to strengthen secure, open interoperability.

Initially this plugin will be released within a NovaMap GitHub repo with installable builds. The repo will then be incorporated to OIE’s repository.

More details will be shared as the release approaches.
